About
My happily-ever-after plan was working part-time as a Christian psychologist while raising 2-3 kids. God had other plans. Am I ever glad!
I “wasted my education” to homeschool what became a family of six children and ended up being more fulfilled by that calling than anything else I've done.
But first I had to discover that I wasn't organized enough to homeschool. This challenge led me to write The Organized Homeschool Life book and planner that has given thousands of a moms a realistic plan for homeschool sanity.
Then, even though I loved to write and absolutely everything about English, my kids were not fans. My research into why kids hated it led me to create story-based curriculum called Grammar Galaxy that has turned a hated subject into a favorite one.
I began speaking at Great Homeschool Conventions and parents' most common questions had to do with social and emotional skills. I realized that I could use the same story-based approach to develop a curriculum called Training Aliens.
My happily-ever-after plan didn't work out, but my dreams have come true. I have a large, happy family. I write and speak for a living. And I get to see other homeschool families live their dream.
I'm grateful to God for His many blessings.
